FAQ
Before you call: the questions we hear most
What does a first call cost?
Nothing. It's a conversation about what happened, and you don't have to decide anything on it.
How is your fee paid?
As a share of what we recover, agreed in writing before we start. Case costs come out of the recovery too. If there's no recovery, you owe neither.
Should I talk to the other driver's insurer?
You can give them your name and say you're hurt. Don't give a recorded statement or sign a release until someone on your side has read it.
How long will my case take?
Most settle within a year of the crash or injury, after your treatment levels off. A lawsuit adds months. We'll tell you where your file stands whenever you ask.
Who pays my medical bills while the case is open?
Usually your own health insurance or the medical coverage on your car policy, and they're paid back from the settlement. We sort out who gets repaid, and how much, before you get your check.
Do I have to go to the office in my city?
No. Your file is shared across all three offices, and we can meet by video, at your home or in the hospital.
What should I bring to the first meeting?
Whatever you have: the crash report number, photos, insurance cards, the names of the places that treated you and any letters from an insurer. Don't worry about what you don't have; getting it is our job.
Still have a question? Ask a lawyer
Ask it on the phone or in writing. A lawyer answers, not a call center.
